Greenlight has proudly partnered with Blufish Consulting on MCCU initiatives for more than 20 years, providing ongoing marketing, creative, branding, and strategic support.

The client, a community credit union, based in Marshall, MI, needed a new brand identity and messaging to help it stand out from its many larger competitors. We developed a memorable “Edmund the Owl” character that was both fun and effective in promoting the credit union and its many products. It all started with the iconic slogan “MCCU, that’s who.” Since Edmund’s inception we developed over 16 years ago. Greenlight has produced hundreds of billboards, print ads, digital ads, radio spots and TV commercials depicting Edmund and his love for MCCU and its many services.

Like other well-known brand mascots, Edmund has grown in popularity and was immortalized with full-size costume making appearances at MCCU sponsored events for years to come. Beloved Edmund has absolutely stood the test of time.
